The Casmed 740 offers healthcare facilities an intuitive way to gain valuable data on the vitals of a specific patient. The monitor is equipped with a range of sensors that ensures different vitals statistics can be displayed on the convenient LED display units that come integrated into the monitor. Customization options allow for the setup of alarms, and to configure specific settings to tailor the device to the patient.

Features

The Casmed 740 is a portable option from the Casmed and comes pre-equipped with many useful features that ensure convenient usage in different healthcare facilities. While the built-in modules and sensors featured by the medical device are appropriate for most care settings, expansion modules can also be installed to further extend on the existing features that the device offers.

The monitor comes with built-in modules that can provide highly accurate measurements on patient vitals, such as:

  • Non-invasive blood pressure, through MAX NIBP Technology
  • Oximetry (Functional Oxygen Saturation) with Masimo SET and Nellcor OxiMax Technologies
  • Patient Temperature, through either FILAC FasTemp or WELCH ALLYN technologies
  • Pulse rate

Patient alarms can be customized or kept at default settings, which will notify nearby staff if any vitals of the patient exceed a specific measurement or fall lower than a particular setting. In such cases, the medical staff would be able to implement appropriate actions to provide the patient with urgent care services.

The device features a built-in battery module that can provide power to the monitor when an AC or DC power source is not available at the specific moment. This is an ideal solution for cases where patients are transferred via ambulance or to another department.
